Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is looking for a Retail Cashier to join the Cape Girardeau Store - Silver Springs team. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and help on the sales floor while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

This part-time, hourly role offers a $15.50 hourly rate plus a monthly bonus up to $250 and a benefits package. HS diploma preferred; no degree required. We value diversity, integrity and professional service.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Organized and capable of interacting with a diverse team.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist on the sales floor, and answer calls promptly with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register, process transactions, and balance the till.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stock on the floor.
• Escalate returns, exchanges, and customer concerns to management.
• Uphold safety, dress code, and professional conduct.
• Build positive, cross-functional relationships with team members.
