Michaels in Wilkes-Barre is hiring a Customer Service Associate to help customers shop and locate products, ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining store standards; associates may learn framing in-store and participate in BOPIS/SFS and other omnichannel tasks. Physical work is required, including standing and lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation to keep in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact professionally with customers and demonstrate company values.
• Cross trained in custom framing selling and production.
