Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. The associate greets customers, assists with merchandise, and follows store best practices to keep areas clean and well merchandised.

You will work on the sales floor and registers, providing friendly service, maintaining safety, and representing the Ross brand with integrity. The role requires standing long hours and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greets all Customers and provides friendly, courteous service.
• Assists Customers with merchandise and questions on the sales floor and at the register.
• Maintains a clean, organized store and well merchandised departments.
• Follows all store policies, procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
• Safely handles cash, checks and transactions while maintaining accuracy.
