Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets Customers, maintains a clean store, assists with merchandise, and operates the register as needed to support daily store operations.

Responsibilities include safety, loss prevention adherence, and representing the Ross brand through courteous, professional service to every customer and fellow Associates on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with merchandise and questions at the register.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment and report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist with merchandising, replenishment, and stock organization on the sales floor.
• Follow store policies related to cash handling, returns, and transactions.
