Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience on the sales floor. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while upholding Ross’s service standards.

Responsibilities include providing friendly assistance at the register, answering questions knowledgeably, and maintaining product presentation and safety practices throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting and assisting them.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized sales floor and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with merchandise presentation, pricing, and replenishment according to guidelines.
• Operate registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide prompt, courteous responses to customer inquiries at all times.
