Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Greensboro, NC is seeking a motivated Outside Sales/Customer Service professional to interface with customers, process orders, quote prices, and communicate delivery terms and payment options.

You will develop new and existing accounts, provide product substitutions where appropriate, maintain contract details, and negotiate quotes to maximize profitability while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks (i.e. margins).
• Product and application knowledge essential.
• PC proficiency for data entry and utilization of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to process orders and inquiries, quote product prices, provide delivery specifications and payment terms.
• Offer substitute products where applicable and negotiate quotes to maximize profitability.
• Develop new and current customer accounts by marketing company product lines and providing value-added services and availability information.
• Maintain current customer information including contracts, bonded inventory requirements, contract terms and other pertinent account details.
• Process telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
