Mr. Handyman of Huntington & Smithtown is seeking a friendly, high-energy Dispatch and Customer Coordination professional to own the schedule and guide customers toward bookings.

This in-office role in East Northport, NY keeps field operations running smoothly and supports a responsive, customer-focused experience. You’ll communicate clearly, manage inbound inquiries, organize technician schedules, and ensure timely, quality service.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in dispatching, customer service, scheduling, or administration.
• Strong scheduling and dispatching skills.
• Excellent phone, text, and email communication.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to reliably commute to our local office.

Responsibilities

• Lead helpful customer conversations that turn inquiries into booked appointments.
• Listen carefully, ask the right questions, and identify customer needs.
• Clearly explain services, process, availability, and pricing.
• Set clear expectations from the first conversation.
• Respond to inbound calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally.
• Manage daily dispatching and technician schedules to maximize productivity.
• Make real-time scheduling adjustments in response to changes.
• Serve as a central point of coordination between customers, technicians, and the office.
• Support technicians in the field with timely information and schedule updates.
• Take ownership of administrative tasks to keep the team organized.
• Follow up with customers to ensure an excellent experience.
