Rural King is seeking a Cashier to provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service while creating a positive customer experience. The role processes transactions, answers questions, and promotes store programs to customers on the front end.

You will work with a team to maintain a clean, organized checkout area, operate POS systems, and assist with introductory training for new cashiers. Rural King offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to remain positive, professional, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Answer customer questions and provide basic product information.
• Educate customers about the Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to promptly address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in training and cross-training of other cashiers as needed.
• Use POS systems and store equipment.
