Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the front-end. You will handle cash and other transactions, greet customers, answer questions, and promote Rural King programs while maintaining a clean, well-stocked checkout area.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail or customer-service experience is preferred, with opportunities for training and growth within Rural King.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using POS systems and technology.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions.
• Follow cash-handling procedures including returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Educate customers about Rural King loyalty programs and RK Visa.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and stock.
