Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Teller to deliver a welcoming, accurate banking experience at a local branch. You will process routine transactions, maintain cash accuracy, and assist customers with everyday needs while following security and compliance standards.

You will educate customers on digital tools and guide them to the right team for more complex solutions. A high school diploma, attendance at initial training, and reliable transportation are required; 37.5 hours/week

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete internal teller and product training.
• Attendance at a 5–7 day training program, with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing with verification of funds.
• Balance cash drawer and protect customer information per security policies.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and assist with inquiries.
• Refer customers to specialists for complex financial needs.
• Support lobby and branch operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
