Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Teller to serve as the friendly, front-line representative for our branch. You will process routine transactions, verify customer identities, balance cash drawers, and support daily branch operations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and completion of internal teller training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Ability to handle routine financial transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and serve as the first point of contact in the branch.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing with proper ID and funds verification.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Refer customers to specialists for more complex needs.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and comply with security policies.
• Assist with lobby management and answer phone inquiries professionally.
