Responsibilities

• Promotes the sale of Bank products and services to customers through the bank’s defined sales process to maximize banking relationships.
• Adheres to and promotes the Bank’s Core Values.
• Responds to requests and proactively approach customers regarding service, products, and account information and processing requests for various banking services.
• Processes the opening of accounts by collecting and verifying identification per CIP/CDD in accordance with BSA; ensures customer receives/understands disclosures.
• Processes transactions including account closures and changes following procedures; verifies IDs and documentation for accuracy.
• Processes ATM and Debit MasterCards for customers through core system with correct delivery details and risk mitigation.
• Performs clerical tasks and keeps account records updated in the core system.
• Adheres to shred procedures to comply with Regulation P.
• Analyzes and resolves customer concerns through verbal and written communication.
• Executes follow-up calls to ensure service quality and pending items are resolved.
• Gathers knowledge of bank products to provide accurate information to customers.
• Verifies monetary transactions with basic math and calculator.
• Balances daily cash by counting, listing totals, and correcting discrepancies.
• Ensures regulatory compliance by applying bank policies during processing.
• Performs check scanning and endorsing to ensure accurate credit and settlement per Regulation CC.
• Sells currency back to the vault to mitigate risk.
• Submits referrals through appropriate channels.
• Assists with training new teller trainees by demonstrating and teaching processing procedures.
