Job summary

Heritage Bank NW’s Tumwater Branch seeks a bank teller to provide exceptional customer service and handle routine transactions in a fully onsite role.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with flexibility to support staffing for training or absences. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to branch sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience (Level I).
• 1 year recent cash handling and customer service in financial services (Level II).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• DNA or Fiserv experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying / receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer within authority limits.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Actively participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Contributes to the success of the team by sharing in branch administrative duties.
