Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC is hiring for a customer-facing team member at our Mobile, AL location. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services to help cars run at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling service orders and register transactions, performing express automotive services, and supporting management with safety and store operations. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with prior automotive service and sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment is preferred.
• One year of sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to apply basic math concepts to calculate commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services.
• Organize service and register transactions; maintain vehicle knowledge.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, refunds, and returns; respond to issues.
• Perform express automotive services and basic maintenance tasks as directed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License

One year of related automotive service experience

One year of sales experience

Mathematics for commissions and discounts
