Job summary

Knoxville Utilities Board is seeking a dedicated Appliance Services Coordinator to help customers install natural gas and other appliances in their homes, improving daily life in our region.

In this role, you will be the go-to liaison for homeowners, coordinating projects from start to finish, communicating daily with customers, and ensuring a smooth project delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fundamental understanding of electric, gas, water, and/or wastewater systems.
• Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No immigration sponsorship is provided for this position.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking appliance installations.
• Prepare cost estimates, job packages, financial agreements, and service contracts.
• Coordinate with customers, appliance team members, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Assist with inventory management of appliances and related stock.
• Stay up to date on all KUB regulations, safety standards, and procedures.
