Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Counter Service associate in Irwindale, CA to handle customer interactions, invoicing and loading vehicles. You will answer calls, assist customers, process orders and ensure accurate billing and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, receiving and stocking, safety compliance, and maintaining neat, organized branch operations while providing friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and loading/unloading items.
• Ability to read invoices and stock descriptions.
• Proficiency with a computer for invoicing and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service in person or by phone.
• Greet customers and maintain a positive attitude at the branch.
• Ensure commitments to customers are met or exceeded.
• Pull orders from warehouse and load into delivery trucks or customer vehicles.
• Prepare accurate paperwork including invoices, CODs, and purchase orders.
