Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling, teller experience or customer service
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

• Professional demeanor and superior problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• This role builds, maintains, and grows customer relationships through quality, personalized interactions following company standards.
• Identifies customer needs and makes referrals through excellent service.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, credit card advances, and other negotiable items.
• Safeguards the bank’s assets and ensures security of the work environment while processing transactions.
• Maintains and balances a cash drawer with extensive cash handling.
• Handles customer requests such as service charges, account maintenance, or research.
• Maintains knowledge of processes, products, and services offered.
• Verifies endorsements, receives proper identification, ensures validity, and detects counterfeit currency.
• Examines checks and applies funds availability per regulatory requirements; issues holds as needed.
• Greets the public professionally to reinforce service standards.
• Assists in managing operational loss with supervisory overrides as needed and effective balance.
• Follows policies and uses equipment properly; mentors peers as needed.
• Complies with federal, state, and local banking laws including Bank Secrecy Act.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Management.
