Dollar General seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and assist with deposits and cash controls to protect assets.

You will also help with scheduling, training, and adherence to company policies, while optimizing inventory, planograms, and cashier accountability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees and training; conduct safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, rotating displays and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; monitor damages and markdowns.
• Protect company assets through cash control and deposits; handle refunds and overrides.
• Support Store Manager in their absence.
