Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a clean, customer-first store and support the Store Manager in supervision, merchandising, and daily deposits. You will oversee stocking, cashiering, inventory, and planograms while protecting assets and reducing losses.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and retail/supervisory experience. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to drive store profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment.
• Six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, rotating displays.
• Maintain inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure merchandise presentation is up to standard.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, refunds, and cash control.
• Assist store manager in operations in their absence.
