Job summary

You will support Store Manager in scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance, while focusing on profitability and loss prevention to protect assets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers, operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, provide training, conduct safety meetings, ensure policy compliance.
• Follow work processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking, and building displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Assist in planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling, and deposits; sign for refunds/overrides, count tills, deposit money.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
