Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store focused on the customer. You will supervise staff, handle merchandise presentation, deposits, and cashier duties while supporting the Store Manager and protecting company assets.

You will participate in scheduling, training, planograms, and ensuring store financial integrity. This role requires hands-on stocking, cashiering, and occasional travel to other stores as needed.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise with planograms; stock, rotate and display products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit procedures.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
