Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store. You will assist with supervising staff, merchandising, deposits, and paperwork, while protecting assets and increasing profitability.

The role includes cashiering, stocking, and helping with store plans and inventory control. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and retail experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and control damages and markdowns.
• Assist with planograms and in-store merchandising presentations.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits.
• Support store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
