Job summary

Michaels in Woodbury, MN is hiring a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, participate in BOPIS and SFS, maintain planograms, and support store recovery to keep the store in-stock and on-brand.

The role requires standing long hours and the ability to lift boxes, with overtime where allowed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and use a ladder when needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Stocking and planogram maintenance.
• Complete merchandise recovery and go-back process.
• Perform in-stock optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully and be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
