Job summary

Bassett Services is seeking a Generator Maintenance Technician who excels at building customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to homeowners. You will perform routine generator maintenance, inspections, and educate customers on performance and service options.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Sales aptitude with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential standby generators.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and identify potential equipment issues.
• Clearly communicate maintenance findings and recommendations to customers.
• Educate homeowners on generator operation, maintenance needs, and available service plans.
• Identify additional service opportunities and make appropriate recommendations based on customer needs.
• Build trust and establish long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, and customer interactions accurately.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with dispatch and management to ensure efficient scheduling and customer communication.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
