Position Summary

Bassett Services is seeking a customer-focusedGenerator Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Unlike traditional technician roles that prioritize extensive mechanical experience, this position is ideal for individuals who excel at building customer relationships, identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, and serving as a trusted advisor to homeowners.

The Generator Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine generator maintenance, conducting system inspections, educating customers on equipment performance and service options, and recommending solutions that help protect their homes and families. While generator experience is beneficial, strong communication, customer service, and sales skills are the primary qualifications for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to learn technical concepts and equipment operation.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, outside sales, hospitality, or home services.
• Generator, electrical, HVAC, automotive, or mechanical experience.
• Experience presenting service recommendations or maintenance agreements.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software.
