Job summary

ChoiceOne Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the face of the branch, delivering world-class customer service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently and identifying opportunities to connect customers with bankers.

Reports To: Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager. This non-exempt position requires attention to detail, adherence to policies, and a commitment to teamwork and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and follow bank policies and customer service standards.
• Operate teller window and balance daily.
• Meet and exceed teller sale/referral goals.
• Process cash and non-cash transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Develop relationships with clients and refer to bankers when appropriate.
• Be familiar with banking regulations and necessary reports.
