Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Software Applications Engineer to support Frontline software across the Americas and Europe. The role blends customer support, training, and technical project management, with a focus on deployments, upgrades, and feature introductions.

Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally; you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations and customer satisfaction, leveraging InCAM Pro, InFlow, InSight, and Genesis.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
• Experience in customer support, software implementation, training, and technical project management
• Working knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and related engineering workflows is highly desirable
• Administration-level knowledge of Frontline software products (InCAM Pro, InFlow, InSight, Genesis) is highly desirable
• Experience with Perl or Python and Oracle database management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and customer support for Frontline software products.
• Deliver customer training and implementation support for new customers, product deployments, upgrades, and new feature introductions.
• Support sales activities as needed, including technical discussions, customer presentations, and product feature demonstrations.
• Collect, document, and communicate customer feedback to support product improvements and enhancement planning.
• Participate in domestic and international travel to support customer engagements, implementations, training, and project activities.
