Job summary

Salesforce AI Labs is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to collaborate with customers, write code, and deploy automation workflows in enterprise environments. You will build direct with customers, leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript to connect to ERP systems and data flows, and craft reliable automation that delivers measurable business value.

You will debug across browser behavior, agent execution, and backend services, with a focus on maintainability, security, and robust tests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working directly with customers to define success and deploy solutions.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs and data flow.

Responsibilities

• Build direct workflows with customers, defining success criteria and securing test data.
• Write JavaScript/TypeScript tools when existing capabilities fall short and debug across browser, agent, and backend states.
• Create and stabilize workflows, document monitoring, and establish support ownership with the team.
• Travel 40–60% for onsite customer discovery, build sessions, and launches.
