Potbelly Sandwich Works in Washington, DC is hiring friendly associates for a fast-paced, customer-focused role. You will help customers enjoy lunch by delivering fast, friendly service and quality products in a clean, inviting setting.

As a team member, you will work across stations, maintain safety standards, assist with cash handling, and support catering orders. Experience in quick service and an ability to stand for hours are helpful; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Team player with reliable punctuality and flexibility.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations and assist Shift Leader or Manager.
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards in all areas.
• Restock foods, chips and coolers as needed.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies and desserts efficiently.
• Use slicer if 18+ years old to prep items.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, and utensils.
• Handle cash accurately at the register and balance till.
• Address customer concerns and support catering/pickup orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
