Job summary

RTC is seeking an Applications Developer to build and maintain internal and customer-facing web applications and console apps. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support apps while collaborating with clients and senior staff to solve business problems.

You will work on front-end and back-end tasks, including ERP integrations, stored procedures, and database interactions. This role emphasizes security, monitoring, and modernization efforts within a hybrid office environment in Rolling

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technology-related degree, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with Oracle databases, stored procedures and triggers, and PL/SQL.
• Strong data and analytical skills; ability to learn and reason through data relationships and business problems.
• Comfort meeting with internal and external clients to understand needs, with support from senior staff in designing solutions.
• Exposure to web application design, including user interface design, database interactions, and reporting.
• Working understanding of application and web security concepts (e.g., authentication, OWASP Top 10 awareness); willingness to build deeper expertise in identity/authentication (SAML, MFA) and code scanning on the job.
• Willingness to maintain and enhance both modern and existing/legacy applications while supporting ongoing modernization efforts.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues using debugging tools, logs, and database queries.
• Experience with or exposure to Git or other source control systems.
