Job summary

RBC Bearings Oxford, CT seeks an Application Developer II to provide technical support for ERP systems, reports, integration, and related software applications. Responsibilities include end-user support, vendor coordination, and developing solutions while maintaining documentation and change management processes.

The role requires strong SQL scripting, Microsoft Office/Access proficiency, and experience with Windows Server environments.

Qualifications

• BS in IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and IBM iSeries environments.
• Experience with desktop OS troubleshooting and programming/debugging.
• Strong written and oral communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provides training, troubleshooting, and support to software application users
• Coordinate IT Service requests via phone and e-mail to resolve end-user issues
• Liaise with third parties to resolve issues promptly
• Design and implement changes to ERP system
• Track and manage changes per Change Management process
• Document problem-solving process and outcomes
• Escalate incidents using standard incident management
• Ensure resolutions meet user requirements and SLAs
• Support 24x7 manufacturing environment
• Support ERP and other enterprise applications
• Write complex SQL queries
• Recent data extraction for audits or business use
