Job summary

HappyRobot Inc. is seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, onboarding, implementing, and supporting the AI platform. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success to deliver tailored solutions.

You’ll build features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, and apply AI/ML methods including LLM prompting and tuning to optimize client outcomes. Ownership of projects is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience: React, TypeScript, Node.js.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, incl. LLM prompting.
• Ability to manage APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Founder mindset: independent and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer-Facing Engineering – Onboard and optimize AI solutions with customers.
• Technical Development – Build features and MVPs with scalable architecture.
• Full-Stack Development – Work with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python.
• AI/ML Applications – Design and iterate on AI/ML solutions and prompts.
• Integration & APIs – Manage integrations with third-party systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
