Job summary

HappyRobot is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, onboarding, implementing, and supporting our AI platform. You will build features across the stack with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, while designing AI/ML solutions and integrating with third-party systems.

You will collaborate with Product, Eng., and Customer Success teams to tailor solutions, iterate based on feedback, and drive impactful outcomes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications including LLM prompting and tuning.
• Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Founder mindset: independent, ownership-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing engineering—assist onboarding and ongoing usage with customers.
• Develop new features, MVPs, and scalable solutions that impact outcomes.
• Full-stack development using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Design and iterate on AI/ML solutions including LLM prompting and tuning.
• Manage APIs and integrations with third‑party systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Eng., and Customer Success.
• Iterate AI solutions based on customer feedback and evolving needs.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
