Job summary

Stealth Startup in Redwood City, CA is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI voice solutions for enterprise customers. You will integrate APIs, SDKs, and custom workflows, collaborating with customer engineering teams, Product, and Customer Success to scale conversational AI in production.

This role blends AI, software engineering, and customer success, with relocation support provided for on-site work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
2+ years building production applications or delivering technical customer-facing solutions.
Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
Experience with APIs, SDKs, and distributed systems.
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with direct customer engagement.
Availability to collaborate during U.S. business hours with Pacific Time overlap.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy production AI voice applications.
Integrate APIs and SDKs into customer products.
Develop custom workflows and conversational AI experiences.
Architect scalable AI systems for enterprise production environments.
Debug production issues across APIs, telephony, latency, and infrastructure.
Lead technical onboarding for enterprise customers and advise on deployment strategies.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate feedback into platform improvements.
