HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a store team member to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience, maintain a clean, organized store, and support operations across multiple areas as needed.

You will participate in promotions, assist customers with purchases, and uphold safety and cash handling procedures while contributing to a positive store culture and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and upholding service standards.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to work in multiple areas to support business needs.
• Accurately ring purchases/returns and handle cash responsibly.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and maintain merchandising standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor and participate in store recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, and support shrink reduction goals.
