Job summary

COTA is hiring a Customer Experience Champion at our Columbus, OH location. You will greet guests, help them select products or services, and assist in daily operations of the Customer Experience Center and pass sales.

You will also support mail-out programs, reduced fare initiatives, and community outreach while ensuring a positive, efficient customer journey. Come be part of Move Every Life Forward at COTA.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of cash handling and data entry experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assesses customer needs and maintains a positive experience.
• Articulates information and directions clearly.
• Educates customers about new product and service features.
• Creates bus pass IDs and assists with fare purchases via Masabi Transit app and other systems.
• Operates cash register and handles payments (cash, credit, checks).
• Manages mail-out programs and Community outreach initiatives.
