Job summary

Architectural Surfaces in Nashville is seeking a customer service representative to quote prices, check material availability, and schedule deliveries while building strong customer relationships.

You will handle inquiries by phone and email, support fabricators/installers and showroom visitors, and assist with inventory and daily cash processes.

Requirements include a High School diploma and at least two years of customer service experience; knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years of Customer Service Experience required.
• Industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide price quotes and availability of materials to customers.
• Provide customer service & sales support to fabricators/installers & walk-in customers.
• Provide backup for cash/credit card transactions.
• Provide backup for balancing end-of-day cash reports.
• Answer product questions and educating customers on our products.
• Provide and encourage outstanding customer service.
• Answer incoming calls on a multi-line system professionally and courteously.
• Respond to customers via telephone or email through a personal computer.
• Receive customers' requests by telephone or email, analyze requests, provide information, route requests to proper person.
• Provide pricing information, process orders, and related data to customers.
• Follow up with customers to assess the level of customer service.
• Resolve customer questions related to orders or inventory.
• Analyze transactions and correct/adjust orders.
• Must be prompt and timely in completing responsibilities.
• Develop knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, and related data.
• Perform all aspects of the job within company policy and procedures.
• Provide backup for showroom consultants.
• Assist GM with inventory maintenance.
