Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support scheduling and service coordination. You will handle calls, manage appointments, and help optimize routes to reduce drive time for technicians. Training is provided and no prior industry experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Proficiently navigate a Windows-based & Web-based system to track routes and optimize current and future schedules—training provided.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and/or distance and suggest alternative routes as needed.
• Use active listening and probing questions to identify customer concerns and needs.
• Maintain and update customer database with accurate information including call details and payments.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and initiatives.
• Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information.
