Job summary

GVEC is hiring a Beyond the Meter Customer Service Representative to help our heating/air conditioning, electrician and solar customers via phone, email and chat. You will be the first contact for pricing, products, services and scheduling, delivering empathy and prompt service to build loyalty.

The role emphasizes accurate information flow to technicians, timely support to customers, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer and phone systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work a 40-hour flexible schedule.
• Basic understanding of clerical accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experience with empathy when addressing problems and providing solutions.
• Process job orders and service tickets while prioritizing calls according to their urgency.
• Utilize effective and efficient communication with customers and other GVEC employees.
• Follow up with customers on estimates for service, financing tasks and other items.
• Receive and record information for all calls and provide technicians with vital information about jobs, obstacles and requirements.
• Monitor job progress and ensure timely assistance.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
