Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support commercial and industrial clients in the Environmental Services division.

You will maintain accurate account records, perform high-volume data entry, track customer information, and process inquiries and service requests promptly. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with 2–5 years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, web, or in-person.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Track customer data, enter information into system databases, and maintain account files.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and field staff to communicate instructions and resolve service issues.
• Process payments, web requests, residential subscriptions, and customer refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks including credit checks, contract scanning, and account setups/cancellations.
• Maintain an organized workspace, assist office visitors, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
