Job summary

Michaels Temecula store is hiring a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will help customers locate products and provide solutions while handling cash to standards.

You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and in-store recovery to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised. Knowledge of Rewards and private label cards, and safety/SOPs are valuable; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Able to lift and carry heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance to keep shelves well-merchandised and in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
