Key duties include handling phones/chats/emails, building relationships, resolving issues, and guiding new customer setup. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and data-entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, chat, social media, or email in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
• Work with customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships.
• Ask probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns.
• Ensure accurate account maintenance and updating of account information.
• Use techniques to reach resolutions for customers that satisfy requests and reduce follow-up questions.
• Schedule delivery orders and use basic negotiation for issues with new and returning customers.
• Handle general customer issues such as service orders, contracts, pricing questions.
• Demonstrate de-escalation of customer situations per policy.
• Send statements and invoices, perform soft collections, and handle some cash payments over the phone.
• Assist with set-up of new customer accounts.
