Job summary

The Children’s Place in Manchester, CT is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, communicate product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques while maintaining clean, well-presented merchandise and stockrooms.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, managing stock, and ensuring accuracy at the cashwrap. Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and promote current promotions.
• Address customer concerns using sound judgment.
• Contribute to conversion through selling skills.
• Assist at cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure representation across sizes and styles.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation and signage.
