Job summary

The Children’s Place in Hartford, CT is recruiting a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service with strong product knowledge and effective selling techniques, while maintaining merchandise presentation, replenishment, and a clean store environment.

You will engage customers, handle transactions at the cashwrap, and promote promotions and PLACE Card benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on PLACE Card benefits
• Greet and acknowledge customers while offering appropriate assistance
• Maintain merchandise presentation, stock and sizing across floors
• Support store leadership in achieving company goals and initiatives
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and sales floor
• Follow loss prevention procedures and safety requirements
• Process stock and display changes as needed
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly
