Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee in Clarksville East is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Associate to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment during assigned shifts. You will provide friendly, efficient service through point of sale transactions, merchandising standards, and overall store readiness, while supporting Goodwill’s mission.

Under store management, you will complete tasks to ensure smooth operations, assist customers, and uphold safety and loss-prevention

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail, customer service, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver friendly, respectful, and helpful shopper service.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a world‑class shopper experience by greeting, respecting, engaging, assisting, and thanking every shopper.
• Accurately process point‑of‑sale transactions while delivering friendly, efficient service.
• Support merchandising and store readiness through recovery, replenishment, and presentation guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across shopper‑facing areas.
• Support opening and closing routines and assist with backroom or operational tasks as directed.
