National Car Rental / Alamo Rent A Car at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT is hiring a Customer Experience Representative. You will greet customers, explain rental terms and features, and help with reservations and returns.

This full-time role pays $20.19 per hour, with incentives up to $3,000 monthly and a $1 per hour shift differential after 8 PM. Schedule includes evenings and weekends; benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related incidents on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be willing to accept starting pay of $20.19/hr plus potential to earn $1/hr shift differential and incentive-based bonuses.
• Able to work up to 40 hours a week, Thursday - Monday: 4:30pm to close.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by explaining rental terms, vehicle features, and available add-ons.
• Offer directions and local information to assist customers.
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, quotes, and general questions.
• Place outgoing calls for callbacks and follow-ups.
• Assist to assess condition of rental upon return.
• Notify management of any customer or vehicle issues.
• Participate in on-the-job training and company-sponsored classroom training.

The Customer Experience Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions and offering company approved services and products to provide a positive experience for all customers. This position also facilitates the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience.

Schedule and Pay

This is a full time opportunity at National/Alamo servicing Bradley International Airport (BDL) with a schedule of 40hrs/week. The pay for this position is $20.19 / hour plus potential to earn incentive pay of up to $3000 per month based on individual performance as well as an opportunity to earn merit increases based on performance. All hours worked between 8:00pm – 3:00am are eligible for an additional $1.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services which includes offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment
• Offer additional customer assistance by offering directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors
• Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
• Assist to assess condition of rental upon return
• Notify Management of any known customer problems
• Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
• Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on the job training and development opportunities and any company sponsored classroom training
