Job Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative. Customer service representatives are responsible for preparing precise and accurate quotes and purchase orders with careful attention to detail.They assist customers through complex sampling methods, procedures, and equipment via email and over the phone.Representatives are expected to multitask and provide courteous customer service while navigating technical terminology and safety specification resources.

Responsibilities
  • Handle complaints about the institution’s products, services or policies and referthem to the appropriate person while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recurring clients, earning their trust and loyalty.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with high volume of phone calls and emails. This includes multitasking, tracking, time management, and organization.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally (phone, email,etc.), while adapting to different kinds of customers across varying industries.
  • Work with invoices, payments, credits, and test results while ensuring the highest level of detail and accuracy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience with product/ customer service
Core Competencies
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Provide First Class Customer Service & Support by e-mail and phone.
  • Able to interact and coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors.
  • Robust analytical skills to aid in assessing customer needs coupled with the ability to solve problems will enhance the incumbent’s performance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner, detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle internal and external contacts in a positive, assertive and effective manner is required.
Preferences
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technical related field is preferred.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will bebased at our site in Austin, TXwith minimal anticipated travel.
