Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is hiring a Customer Service Phone Advocate I to join our team in Florence, SC. You will respond to telephone inquiries with prompt, accurate, and courteous service, and perform research as needed to resolve questions.

As a member of the PGBA location, you will work a full-time 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, onsite at 200 North Dozier Boulevard, Florence, SC 29501.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone inquiries promptly, accurately, and courteously.
• Document inquiries and perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve problems and research priority inquiries.
