Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Account Team, enhancing the customer experience through timely communication and accurate order processing. You will collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance while delivering value to differentiate Brenntag in the market.

The role emphasizes proactive teamwork, problem solving, and professional customer interactions across platforms to build loyalty and support territory growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or 5+ years in a related field.
• Must be able to problem solve, work independently, and have strong listening, speaking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for collaboration.
• Skilled at handling competing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• CRM Experience required, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and Team Collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Order Entry, Management and Processing: efficient order placement, order confirmation via phone, email or EDI, and timely communication of changes.
• Manage internal/external requests across multiple platforms with organized, concise communication.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships to ensure loyalty and retention.
• Safeguard data integrity and ensure visibility across internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Regulatory expectations and company policies.
