Meijer seeks a customer-focused team member to support day-to-day store operations and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with peers, assist customers, and maintain product presentation and safety standards.

You will also help schedule, train new staff, and lead initiatives to improve service, sales, and store profitability while upholding Meijer’s inclusive culture. This role requires availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

• Assign daily tasks and coordinate team activities.

• Assist in training new team members and cross-training high-potential staff.
• Support department scheduling to boost engagement and customer service.
• Ensure product freshness through rotation and dating policies.
• Lead by example in food safety and safe操作 practices.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and displays when applicable.
• Foster Meijer culture with diversity and inclusion values.
• Operate registers and handle cash when required.
• Operate powered equipment when needed.
• Participate in period-end inventories to meet targets.
• May act in Lead capacity in other departments.
